High School Boys and Girls Sectional Finals took place on Saturday.
In the Girls 1A Sectional Final, Washington Catholic claimed their 2nd Girls Soccer Sectional Title in 3 years as they knocked off Sullivan 4-2. They will take on Evansville Mater Dei in the first round of the regional.
In the 1A Boys Soccer Sectional, South Knox shutout Washington Catholic 4-0. The Spartans in the win avenged their lone regular season tie. South Knox will travel to Forest Park to take on the Rangers in their first round of regional.
In High School Football action, North Daviess downed North Knox 32-14. The Warriors are set to be home Friday for Senior Night against Paoli.
Lawrenceville knocked off the Wildcats of Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville 49-12. Lawrenceville is now 2-5 as they take on county foe Red Hill next week.
In College Football, Indiana fell 31-10 to Michigan, Purdue squeaked past Maryland 31-29 in College Park, and Notre Dame held off BYU 28-20
Cardinals saw their season come to an end as they fell to the Phillies 2-0.
