The Drug Enforcement Administration’s next Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be held today from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
For more than a decade, Take Back Day has helped Americans dispose of unneeded medications that can often become a gateway to addiction. Take Back Day is your chance to rid your medicine cabinet of unneeded and unwanted medication.
Collection sites are located around the country and will be collecting tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs.
Prescription drugs can be dropped off at Indiana State Police posts and other locations in and near your community. In Vincennes, two permanent drug take-back locations are available around the clock — at the Vincennes Police Department, and at the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.
