If you’ve been hoping to benefit from President Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan, you will still have to wait for the courts to decide if loan forgiveness will become a reality. However, in the meantime, Biden has decided to extend the loan repayment pause yet again. Payments were scheduled to resume in January.
With this most recent pause, it looks like payments will not resume until almost two months after the lawsuit is resolved, or until about the end of August, whichever comes first.
