Vincennes City officials feel they are as prepared as they can be for eclipse weekend. Various activities are taking place, leading up to just over four minutes of totality around 3:06 Monday afternoon,
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum expects more of a regional eclipse following on Monday. Mayor Yochum also believes the maximum totality to be seen in Vincennes will also bring hardcore eclipse watchers here.
Organizers aren’t sure of the number of people that will come to Vincennes at thi time. The weather will be a help; right now, Monday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny conditions, with a high in the mid-70’s.
