The Knox County Farm Bureau has awarded a 25-hundred dollar grant to South Knox High School senior Tanner Holland. The scholarship is awarded each year in honor of Fred Dutton. Dutton was a 30-year member of the Knox County Farm Bureau, and was also a former Ag Day chairman.
Holland plans to attend Vincennes University in the fall, and major in welding technology. The award is given each year to a Knox County graduating senior with a family member in the Knox County Farm Bureau. The final requirement isfhr the student to pursue a major in an ag-based industry.
