The Vincennes Lincoln Baseball team is 4-0 on the season after beating Tecumseh 8-1 on Saturday. Raden Benson picked up the win, pitching four innings and giving up only one run while striking out seven. Benson also had three hits, including a home run.
The Lincoln Junior Varsity blanked Castle 3-0. Maverick Betsch and Gavin Kelso had a pair of hits for the Alices.
The Lincoln Freshman baseball team also was a winner, downing Castle 8-nothing. Colton Wonning picked up the win, striking out eight and allowing only one hit in five innings of work.
The Lincoln Girls softball team completed its suspended game against Evansville Bosse, rolling to a 22-0 win. Grace Archer and Miley Carie Frederick had home runs for the Alices, who move to 2-4 on the season.
The Lincoln Girls Tennis team lost to Terre Haute South 5-nothing.
South Knox grad Adam Schenk is tied for 13th heading into Sundays final Round of the Masters. Schenk fired an even par 72 and is even thru three rounds. He is currently 7 shots off the leader.
