A Skywarn Training session is scheduled a week from tomorrow– Tuesday, April 23rd– in Martin County.
It will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at 26-60 US 50 in Loogootee.
The training session will be conducted by the National Weather Service Indianapolis Office and is free to the public.
No registration is required.
The session will last about two hours.
Among the topics to be presented are basic radar understanding, identifying severe weather cloud features, spotter location, and reporting criteria.
