Area counties are readying themselves to use 15 million dollars in READI grants across the Indiana First region. The region includes Knox and Pike Counties as part of the five-county territory.
Knox County Indiana Economic Development Corporation director Chris Pfaff hopes to use the grant dollars to set a framework for the community’s future.
In Pike County, a big part of their funds will go toward a shell building for future development as needed. the building will be overseen by the Pike County Economic Development group.
