The North Knox School Board has approved a couple of summer-related projects for this year.
The first is for overall summer school classes to happen from June third to 14th. The summer school instruction will be at the North Knox Intermediate School just off State Road 550 west of Bruceville.
The other summer activity is the Kindergarten Jump Start program, sponsored by the United Way of Knox County. That will be held from July 15th to the 26th. Jump Start is a kindergarten-readiness program to help students entering school be ready when classes get underway in August.
North Knox School Board members approved the two summre programs unanimously.
