One month remains before the Memorial Day weekend– and the annual Rendezvous weekend. Various groups associated with Rendevous presenter “Spirit of Vincennes” are working toward the event. This year’s Rendezvous is planned for Saturday and Sunday, May 25th and 26th.
One of the groups working with the Rendezvous each year is the George Rogers Clark National Park. G–R-C chief ranger Joe Herron hopes the varied crowds that come here for the eclipse will come back for the Rendezvous. Herron knows the annual Rendezvous is a great chance for Vincennes to put its best foot forward each year.
Each year, the Rendezvous brings tens of thousands to the French Commons in Vincennes to celebrate the colonial-style event.
