The Knox County Salvation Army has its annual “Angel Tree” displays up to help those kids in need of a good Christmas this year. Among the places the trees are up is at the Vincennes Wal-Mart.
Knox County Salvation Army commander Joey Gates says the Angel Tree specifics are turned in as part of Christmas signups. Gates knows not every tag is pulled from the trees—but when it comes to giving the Angel Tree gifts, no child is left behind.
The final three days of Christmas signups are available through the Knox County Salvation Army Monday through Wednesday of next week. The last signup day will be the day before Thanksgiving.
