Last week’s winter storm took a toll on both workers and Vincennes’ overtime payroll. Vincennes City Councilman Brian Grove says street crews were out even before the storm hit. Grove also knows even with the overtime, the Street Department got some help from other City departments.
The first snowfall last week dumped between 8 and 12 inches of snow on the area. After that, a second snowfall late last week dropped a few more inches as well.
