With somewhat colder weather returning to the area, Vincennes Animal Shelter officials encourage you to remember your pets. It especially can be a challenge if you have pets which stay outside.
Shelter director Leah Raigen says when you care for your pets in colder weather, one good insulator against cold weather is straw. Raigen also encourages all pet owners to keep a “five-sided” shelter handy for those pets to get out of the weather. That \means a four-sided traditional shelter with a roof.
