Despite a lot of rain and potential snow melt, aera rivers are handling the added flow comfortably as of now.
The White River at Edwardsport has had the highest water level, with the White topping just undr flood stage just after midnight this morning. Also, the Embarras at Lawrenceville rise to just under its flood stage before starting to fall back. The Wabsh River at Vincennes saw a bit of a rise, but no where near action stage, much less flood stage at this time. Area rivers were assisted by relatively low water levels before the current flow came downstream.
