The current round of cold air in this area is expected to stick around a couple more days, before a significant warmup is forecast.
High temperatures through at least Thursday are forecast to stay in the teens to 20’s, with lows in the single digits. Below-zero wind chills are also expected in the next couple of days. National Weather Service forecaster Andrew White encourages all those who have to be outside to prepare themselves against frostbite. However, White gives some good news—the current cold is not forecast to stick around.
At this point, the start of next week looks even better, with highs possibly rising into at least the mid-50’s.
