US 41 Bridge Work at Oaktown Nearing Start DAte

Monday of next week is the planned start date for a closure of one lane of U-S 41 over the C-S-X overpass at Oaktown. The closure will allow for a bridge deck replacement on that stretch of U-S 41. The work is being overseen by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
The progression will be similar to the repairs to the Mariah Creek bridge last year. The work will begin in the passing lane first, and then transfer to the driving lane as the project continues. Work will last until September of this year, weather permitting.
