Efforts continue to prepare the former Knox /County Poor Farm land to become the County’s Emergency Operations Center. If built, that building wou ld house, among other departments, the Knox County Central Dispatch location.

The Senate bill Brink is referring to is the pending State Senate measure to provide property tax cuts for Indiana’s landholders. Many municipal governments are concerned those cuts could also mean deep cuts to their operating revenue.
