Thin Ice Collapse Cost Two Their Lives Over Weekend

Indiana Conservation Officers say one of two men died Saturday after they fell through the ice on Beaver Dam Lake in the Hillenbrand Fish and Wildlife Area in Greene County.
      Jasonville Police Officer Skylar Scott was able to rescue 20-year-old Cordell Foster by using a rope throw bag.
      The second victim, 20-year-old Justin Sprang, went under the water and never resurfaced.
      Conservation Officer divers later recovered Sprang’s body in 16 feet of water.
