One of the biggest prtojects in this area this construction season will happen on State Road 441 throughout Vincennes. The project will be a complete re-paving of the highway from Willow Street to the Memorial Bridge.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has jurisdiction over that road. INDOT’s Gary Bryan lets us know the work will be thorough. Bryan says the Willow Street part of 441 will get a lane reduction—similar to the recent “road diet” that happened on Hart Street.
The project will affect various parts of the highway at different times. No specific start date has been set for the project at this time.
