The United Way of Knox County, and Vincennes University, is joining together to air a documentary called “Food, Insecure.” The half-hour presentation was made through the Indiana Working Hungry Project. It will be aired at six p-m March 27th at V-U’s Shircliff Auditorium.
United Way of Knox County director Mark Hill knows the issue hits home—especially with kids in low=income households. Hill also knows the problems with food insecurity—and other related issues—are noticed by early-childhood development workers.
After the documentary’s premiere in Vincennes, there will be a community discussion concerning the issue. The showing is free and open to the public.
