The City of Vincennes is getting positive feedback on a parking space widening project on Main between First and Second Streets. The work is part of the City of Vicnennes’ overall paving program for this year.
Vincennes City Engineer J9ohn Sprague says the spaces needed widening. However, Sprague notes the widening has led to a couple fewer parking spots on that block.
The City ‘s paving work downtown was planned alongside an INDOT move to resurface all of State Road 441 through Vincennes.
