Three Contractors in Running for Work to Planned Emergency Operations Center

Three companies are in the running to be the contractor on the proposed Emergency Operations Center. The facility is being planned on the former Poor Farm land on Hart Street Road near Vincennes.
The three companies to submit bids included Wolfe Construction, Tabor Owens, and S-C-S Construction. In a special meeting yesterday, the Knox County Commissioenrs took all the bids under consideration. An award could be made as early as today’s regular Knox County Commissioners’ session.
