The Vincennes Animal Shelter is holding a capacity crowd of dogs and cats at their facility on River Road on the south edge of Vincennes. Shelter director Leah Raigen says when it comes to full capacity, they aren’t alone either. Raigen knows firsthand anywhere you go, the shelters are taking in dogs and cats faster than the Shelter can get them adopted out.
The full house at the Shelter comes despite a recent expansion and renovation at the Shelter to give dogs and cats in need a good home.
