Vincennes University is partnering with Marian University as part of the Riverside Education Innovation District, or REID. The group will repurpose the former LaRue Center campus as a lifelong learning location. The LaRue Center is located on the near northwest side of Indianapolis.
The University’s role is to create a new career and technical education, or C-T-E, center as part of the partnership. The Center is part of a drive to help people in an economically-disadvantaged part of Indianapolis.
Work is already underway to transform the former hospital campus into an educational center. University programming is set to start in the fall of 2027.
