A possible October 31st change of plea is in place in the trial of Dylan Smith of Vincennes. Smith is accused of murder in the August sixth death of 30 year=old Taylor Hendershot. The case is being heard in Knox Circuit Court.
Along with the scheduled change of plea, a new trial date has been set for April 21st. That is in case the change of plea hearing does not happen on October 31st. Last month, Knox Circuit Court Judge Monica Gilmore denied Smith’s defense’s request for a change of venue in the case.
Smith is still being held without bond in the Knox County Jail.
