Vincennes Woman Arrested on Drug Charges Over Weekend

     A Vincennes woman was arrested on outstanding and new drug charges early Saturday morning during a traffic stop.
      A Knox County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over 41-year-old old Kari Schatz for driving left of center near the intersection of South 15th and Cavanaugh Streets.
      Schatz was wanted on two active Knox County felony warrants for possession of and dealing in drugs.
      A police K-9 alerted police to the presence of illegal drugs inside the vehicle.
      Methamphetamine and prescription drugs not prescribed to Schatz were found.
       She was arrested on the two felony warrants and two new charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and a Legend Drug.
      Schatz is being held without bond in the Knox County Jail.
