VCSC Ratifies Two-Year Contract with Corporation Te4achers

The Vincennes Community School Board has ratified a new two-year contract with the Vincennes Education Association. The Association represents the classroom teachers across Vincennes Community Schools.
The plan includes a 250 dollar adjustment to the health savings accounts of teachers on the single employee plans, and 500 dollars for the Family plan. Other changes include issues for benefit days, salary range, coverage for Literacy Endorsements.
However, both sides are bracing for a likely budget shortfall with newly enacted property tax cuts. V-C-S-C Superintendent Greg Parsley remined everyone those cuts will likely be felt beginning in 2028.
