Government Stalemate Puts SNAP At Risk

      The U.S. Department of Agriculture is asking Indiana and other states to stop processing SNAP benefit applications.
      The request is due to the ongoing federal government shutdown that is entering its third week.
      Hoosiers who rely on SNAP and WIC benefits could have those benefits disrupted by next month if the shutdown continues.
