State lawmakers who have been called into a special session on redistricting are not expected to meet today, or this week.
Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston says the legislature will not be convening on November 3rd, so the timeline to redraw Indiana’s congressional maps would need to be pushed back. This comes after Governor Mike Braun called for the special session a week ago.
Indiana law says the special session will last 30 session days, or 40 calendar days, whichever is shorter.
