Good news for government agencies across the area and nation—Congress has reached a solution to end an over month-long federal shutdown.
That means federal government workers will be back on the job. That incluees workers at the George Rogers Clark National Park. It also means payment for gropus who depend on federal grants—including various PACE Community Action Agency programs.
That also means that federal subsidies—including SNAP and other government assistance programs—will once again be funded. The U-S Senate agreed to a stopgap funding bill yesterday.
