Temperatures to near 70 on Christmas Day are being forecast for this part of southwest Indiana. That is a major contrast from single digit cold conditions this area endured earlier this month. INDOT’s Gary Bryan knows the earlier bitter cold caused problems—because it followed a significant rain. Bryan knows the variables of southwest Indiana weather keep him on his toes.
However, no matter what the weather, INDOT officials say they are ready to keep area highways and interstates safe from problems.
