A routine traffic stop turned into a pair of drug related felony arrests.
Knox County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a truck for lack of taillights on Miami Street near 11th Street in Bicknell. The truck was driven by 56 year-old Gary Padgett. After suspecting drugs in the truck, Padgett and 46 year-old Vicki Padgett were both ordered out of the truck. A resulting search by K-9 Blast turned up ten grams of methamphetamine, nd around 3 grams of cocaine.
Both Padgetts were charged with meth possession and possession of marijuana. Both were booked into the Knox County Jail.
