A new set of single family and duplex homes near 15th and Broadway now has the official green light, following action last night by the Vincennes City Council.
Council approved a rezoning for that area, allowing for duplex homes to be built in the proposed Broadway Place subdivision. The set of duplexes to be built is part of a continuing effort to increase and improve housing, to attract more people to Vincennes.
The necessary rezoning was favorably recommended by the Knox County Area Plan Commission. Council members approved the rezoning unanimously.
