Work continues on the under construction Amazon distribution center in the U-S 41 Industrial Park. Amazon officials purchased the acreage for the 170-thousand square foot building in mid-February.
K-C-I-E-D director Chris Pfaff believes work on the Amazon project is on a fast track. Pfaff is also not ruling out a call for workers and other construction milestones by the end of this year.
The location will be a “last-mile” delivery center—in other words, the last stop for a package before it is delivered to the home of a purchaser.
