A Pike County woman died late Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle crash in Daviess County.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Amanda John of Velpen was driving southbound on State Road 57 in the Sandyhook Curve area when her vehicle left the roadway, hit a guardrail, and came to rest in a deep ditch.
John was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
