Tina M. “Phipps” Beard, age 65, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away on June 29, 2026, in her hometown. She was born on January 8, 1961, in Vincennes, Indiana, and lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and a spirited love for all living things around her.
Tina was a bubbly and full-of-life woman whose presence could brighten any room. She was known for her friendly nature, her easy smile, and the way she made others feel welcome and cared for. Throughout her working years, Tina was employed at Walmart and at Duke Energy. She was a dependable worker who took pride in doing her job well and in being part of the communities where she lived and worked.
Tina loved fishing and animals, and these simple joys were among the things that brought her the greatest happiness. Whether spending time outdoors or caring for the creatures she adored, she found comfort and peace in the things she loved most. Her interests reflected her gentle nature and her appreciation for life’s quieter, meaningful moments.
She is survived by her children, Amanda Wolf (Richard) of Gibson City, Illinois, and Zachary Beard (Katie); her two grandchildren, Caitlin Richards and Dylon Wolf; her four great-grandchildren, Jolene Wolf, Harley Wolf, Isabella Little, and Mason Wolf; and her siblings, Yonda McCurry (David) of Summertown, Tennessee, Pamela Kessler (Will) of Washington, Indiana, Jenny Canups (Ron) of Lewisburg, Tennessee, and Artie Fish of Bruceville, Indiana. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Phipps (Sue), and Carolyn Payne, as well as her brother, Bub Robertson. Tina’s family takes comfort in knowing that her loving spirit, her laughter, and her vibrant personality will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Tina M. “Phipps” Beard will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude for the love she shared, the joy she brought, and the lasting impression she made on her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Dyson Shelter House at the Ouabache Trails Park, potluck style.
