BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The City of Bloomington has awarded 76,000 dollars in Arts Project Grants to 47 local artists and community organizations. The funding will support a diverse mix of public programming, including a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, community theater, and live music series. Financed by the city’s General Fund and the Bloomington Urban Enterprise Association, these grants aim to keep the local creative economy thriving. Two more grant cycles will open later this year.
