Vincennes Community Schools, and the South Knox School Board, have both approved their budgets for the Joint Special Education budget for the next school year. The Vincennes Community School Corporation funts just over a million dollars of the 1.9 million dollar budget; the rest will be picked up by the South Knox and North Knox corporations.
The VCSC part of the budget is down nearly 83-thousand dollars. South Knox’s share is up just over 770 dollars from a year ago. North Knox officials have yet to approve their share.
Also, the South Knox Board approved the Corporation’s agreement with PACE Community Action Agency, along with budget help from Harmon Consulting. Harmon officials will help the South Knox Corporation with their budget estimates for the coming school year.
