Knox County Industrial Economic Development director Chris Pfaff is reporting a successful business trip to Europe last month. He and Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum traveled to France and Germany as part of an effort to stimulate more business opportunity in Vincennes and Knox County.
Part of the trip was to visit the German world headquarters of Schott Industries. Pfaff compares that trip to similar journeys to visit the Japanese headquarters of both F-I-A and Excell.
The trip also included stops at various business fairs in both France and Germany, as part of a recruitment strategy for new business to come to Knox County.
