A GoFundMe account has been set up for a Lawrenceville teen recovering from a swimming accident in northern Lawrence County Illinois on Sunday.
16 year-old Knox Pritchard was swimming with a friend when he was suffered a traumatic injury. According to the GoFundMe post, Pritchard faces a long road to recovery following major surgery at an Indianapolis hospital. The GoFundMe account is set up to cover hospital expenses, rehabilitation cost, and travel and lodging expenses, and the loss of work time for his family members.
As of this morning, the account has raised just under eight-thousand dollars for the family. According to the GoFundMe account, the goal is 12-thousand dollars. More information is available through the account “Support Knox’s Recovery After Swimming Accident.” All donations are appreciated.
