More than 430 cases of salmonella infections across 32 states, including Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky, have been linked to eating certain kinds of jalapeno peppers.
That includes 57 hospitalizations but no reported deaths so far.
The CDC estimates the number could be higher as many may be recovering from the infections without receiving medical care.
