The Indiana State Police is officially looking for its next class of recruits.
The I.S.P. is accepting applications for both new candidates and lateral transfers from other law enforcement agencies.
Trooper trainees undergo 24 weeks of academy instruction, while lateral transfers complete an eight-week program.
Position specialties include SWAT, detectives, and aviation.
Applications close October 11th on the state government website.
