Pace Community Action Agency will start accepting applications October 1st for its 2026–27 Energy Assistance Program. The program is for income‑eligible households in Daviess, Greene, Knox, and Sullivan counties.
Pace spokeswoman Courtney Welage reminds everyone the assistance is a one-time credit directly to the utility. Welage also says the actual amount of the credit depends on several factors.
Applications will be available online at Pace offices, and most local libraries, with mailed forms sent to elderly clients who received aid last year. More details are at pacecaa.org/energy-assistance.
Because eligibility can take up to 55 days, Pace urges residents to apply early.
