The group Uplift Knox County will celebrate the final work on a set of basketball courts at Lester Square Park in Vincennes. The celebration will be a block party starting at one p-m on Sunday, September 27th. The courts were funded in large part through a 100-thousand dollar matching state grant through the Patronicity program.
Uplift Knox County consists mainly of people from the former Rotary Young Leaders group.
