A one-word ballot error will require Knox County to reprogram voting machines for a third time before the November election.
The latest issue involved the Vincennes Community School Corporation Board race, where ballots incorrectly instructed voters to choose three candidates instead of two.
Officials will correct the error before early voting begins Tuesday.
About 60 mail-in voters received the incorrect ballot and will be sent instructions to request a corrected version. A public hearing on the change is scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight at the Knox County Courthouse.
It was the second correction; the earlier one removed Ashley Carswell from the Vincennes township trustee race. Carswell requested the removal after moving from Knox County to Marion County.
