Today is the start for Medicare’s annual Open Enrollment. It allows eligible people to join, switch, or drop certain Medicare plans.
Among those involved in Medicare Open Enrollment education is Vincennes’ Good Samaritan Hospital. G-S-H official Charity Davis says this is a chance to sign up or adjust your current Medicare plan. Another Hospital spokeswoman—Sarah Kopp—reminds everyone to use your good sense when bombarded with Medicare Open Enrollment promotions.
Current beneficiaries should soon be receiving their plan’s Annual Notice of Change, which summarizes the changes in their plan’s cost and coverage for the coming year.
