Vincennes City and Vincennes Township firemen joined together again today to remember the victims of 9/11. This is the 16th year for the two departments to raise a large American flag over U-S 41 at the Hart Street overpass.
Vincennes Fire Department assistant chief Brett Bobe says it is important for them to continue the 9/11 tradition…

Bobe also knows there is a bond between them and the police and firemen who died on September 11th, 2001– and at any other time…

Over three-thousand people were killed that day in four locations when terrorists hijacked four planes. The planes were crashed into the World Trade Center towers in New York City, the Pentagon just outside Washington, D-C, and in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
