The Vincennes Lincoln Lady Alices improved to 6-0 with a 52-29 win over Evansville Mater Dei at Alice Arena on Saturday night. The Lady Alices, who led wire to wire in the contest, were led by Alison Hein and Maycee Lange with 13 points each and Alanna Green and Darrian Carmean chipped in with 11 apiece.

Mater Dei won the JV game, 52-26.

Lincoln plays again on Tuesday at Washington.

The Vincennes Rivet Lady Patriots cruised to a 93-26 road win over North Posey.Grace Waggoner topped the 3-0 Lady Patriots with 32 points. Tia Tolbert tossed in 12 and Lauren Carie and Macee Hamilton had 10 each.

Rivet won the JV game 37-30.

Rivet host Shoals Monday night.

The South Knox Lady Spartans dropped South Spencer 50-40. For 4-3 South Knox, Lexi Deitweiller had 15 points. Mykayla Couchenour added 14 points.

South Spencer took the JV contest 34-28.

South Knox plays again Tuesday at Linton.

The North Knox Lady Warriors lost to Bloomfield 58-47. Makinzi Meurer led North Knox with 20 points and Gracie Poe added 17. The loss drops North Knox to 5-2.

North Knox plays again on November 26th against North Central.

Elsewhere in girl’s hoops, Sullivan beat Edgewood 65-38, Linton buried North Daviess 71-19, Barr-Reeve dropped Mitchell 55-40 and Evansville Memorial downed Jasper 52-44.

The Vincennes University Women’s basketball team lost a close 65-61 contest to Gulf Coast state at the P.E. Complex. Jaynice Stovall led the 5-3 Lady Blazers with 18 points and Reeva Hammelman added 12. The Lady Blazers host Southeastern Illinois on Tuesday.

In College football yesterday, Notre Dame rolled by Syracuse 36-3. Michigan beat IU 31-20 and Wisconsin outlasted Purdue in three overtimes 47-44.

In the NBA the Indiana Pacers beat Atlanta 97-88.

In the NFL today, the Indianapolis Colts host Tennessee in a game you can hear on WZDM 92.1FM beginning with the pre game at Noon. Also today Cincinnati plays Baltimore and tonight The Chicago Bears play Minnesota.

In college hoops today the Univesity of Evansville hosts Texas Southern at 1pm and IU plays at Arkansas at 3:30. Both games can be heard on WAOV 97.7FM.

Tonight Purdue plays Virginia Tech.
