The North Knox Lady Warriors led wire to wire in a victory over the South Knox Lady Spartans, 58-44 at North Knox.
Makinzi Meurer led North Knox 27; Graycie Poe added 12, and Grace Yochum had 9. Hannah Ivers had 18 for South Knox, while Mykayla Cochenour added 13. North Knox led throughout, going up 42-24 after three quarters. The Lady Warriors extended the lead to 22, before South Knox cut it to 10 in the fourth quarter. The Lady Warriors then finished strong to win by 14.
South Knox won the JV game, 39-31. The Lady Warrior varsity is now 6-2, while South Knox falls to 4-6. North Knox faces White River Valley on Monday evening at North Knox.
