In JuCo Action Saturday, the Vincennes University Lady Blazers got back on the winning track with a victory over Kaskaskia’s Blue Angels 74-37 at Kaskaskia Saturday afternoon. Ivanda Hudjakova led VU in scoring with 12 points. Fess Hawkins added 11 points and 10 rebounds while Sofya Besedina chipped in 10 points to go with 10 boards. The Lady Blazers are off until Monday, December 17th when they travel to take on Lincoln Trail.
For Lincoln Trail, they picked up a 64-56 win on the road at Olney Central. For 9-2 Lincoln Trail, Olivia Bryant led the way with 17 points. Olney Central was led by Wood Memorial grad Brenna Maikranz with 20 points. South Knox’s Jarissa Page played around 4 minutes without scoring and going 0-1 from the floor. With the loss, Olney Central dropped to 4-5 on the season. Lincoln Trail is off until their matchup next Monday at home with Vincennes.
